A team of evangelists from Byona Biyinzika Ministries visited the village of Banda Bugendeladala in Nakisunga subcounty Mukono District. A total of 8 people from two older persons homes accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour. A bar of soap and a kilo of sugar were donated to the homes.

Kalerwe Elderly Clinic

The Kalerwe Elderly Clinic Day was held on 20th May the third Friday of the month at the Anglican church in Sebina Zone Kalerwe, Kawempe Division.

A total of 124 elderly clients received free treatment from both centers Kalerwe and Mukono. Those older persons with chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension are able to get their continuous drug refills on these clinic days.

On 5th May 2022 the first Thursday of the month an elderly clinic day was held in Mukono at Companion Health Care Center.


A total of 124 elderly clients received free treatment from both centers Kalerwe and Mukono. Those older persons with chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension are able to get their continuous drug refills on these clinic days.

Byona Biyinzika Ministries( BBM) is a registered non-profit organization, that reaches out to the Older Persons in Uganda aged 65 years and above regardless of their gender, race or religion.
We seek to improve the welfare of this population by meeting their Spiritual, Physical, social and Emotional needs.

Older Persons Day Celebrations

Byona Biyinzika Ministries having been selected to represent at the Mukono Municipality Older Persons Council, took part in the celebrations of the Older Persons Day held on 29th April 2022 at Mukono Municipal council Mayor Gardens under the theme ” Digital Equity for All Ages.” Among the activities that took place was a medical camp where the elderly persons received medical treatment offered by Byona Biyinzika Ministries medical team.
